Meet the contenders

Couple: Rhianedd and Jon Lewis Date: Saturday 20th November, 2010 Venue: Tabernacle Cardiff, followed by a reception at The Vale Resort, Hensol Theme/colour scheme: Autumnal theme with midnight blue, ivory and orange
Rhianedd on...
Married life: Jon and I complement each other in every way and always work as a team. We bought our house just before the wedding, so over the past year we've had great fun turning it into our family home. Another highlight was receiving our wedding album, it really is perfect in every way.
Anniversary celebrations: In November we stayed in a cosy farm cottage in Abergavenny, watching films and going for walks. The following weekend we stayed at The Vale Resort where we enjoyed a family meal and spent time in the spa. We also got together with our photographer Hazel Hannant and had a 'trash the dress' photo shoot. We went to Southerndown Beach in all our wedding gear and had a great time messing around.
Making it into the final: We're so excited to be through and are thankful to everyone who voted for us. We have so much work still left to do on our house, we would be over the moon to receive a well-deserved break.

Couple: Emily and Mark Prime Date: Saturday 16th April, 2011 Venue: St David's Church, Tonyrefail, followed by a reception at The Vale Resort, Hensol Theme/colour scheme: Traditional elegance with navy blue and ivory
Emily on...
Married life: The security of knowing you have each other to rely on for the rest of your life is a wonderful feeling.
Anniversary celebrations: For our first anniversary we'll be heading back to The Vale Resort to enjoy a romantic dinner and an overnight stay. It will be great to re-visit the venue again.
Making it into the final: We really can't believe we got through! There were so many other great weddings to choose from, we're over the moon readers thought ours was worthy of a place in the final. We don't tend to spend weekends away just the two of us, as we're usually spending time with friends or family, so a weekend to ourselves would be wonderful. The idea of being voted the winners would mean all our hard work - and the hard work of our loved ones - completely paid off.

Couple: Angharad and Ben Wilkins Date: Saturday 11th June, 2011 Venue: St Peter's Church, Newton, Swansea, followed by a reception at Oldwalls Leisure in the Gower Theme/colour scheme: Beach theme with celadon green and ivory
Angharad on...
Married life: We really enjoyed our honeymoon to San Francisco and Hawaii, it was wonderful being referred to as Mr and Mrs Wilkins for the first time. Attending our friends' wedding as a married couple also felt really special and watching them say their vows only reinforced why we wanted to get married in the first place.
Anniversary celebrations: As Ben and his mum did an amazing job planning our surprise honeymoon, I think I should treat Ben to a few days away. Padstow in Cornwall is a really special place for both of us. It would be great to go for walks on the coast, eat fish and chips on the seafront and maybe even visit one of Rick Stein's fish restaurants.
Making it into the final: We can't thank everyone enough for voting us through this far. With us getting married and me going into remission, winning the competition would be the icing on the cake of what has been a wonderful year. I also believe nobody deserves to win this more than Ben, who has been an incredible support to me.

Couple: Kirsty and Steve Fletcher Date: Friday 5th August, 2011 Venue: Llansantffraed Court, Abergavenny Theme/colour scheme: A family affair with pale blue and ivory
Kirsty on...
Married life: As we've been together for nine years, not much has changed in our relationship, although we still have moments when we realise, 'wow, we're married!'. I have to think twice whenever I say my name, but it's a wonderful feeling to have a proper family name at last.
Anniversary celebrations: The summer will see us celebrate our first anniversary as husband and wife, but also 10 years of being together. We love the idea of going to Bluestone in Pembrokeshire for a week, it's so tranquil there, down by the sea, and there is plenty for our daughter to do. We've also talked about the possibility of going back to Lanzarote as this is where we first met as teachers many years ago. As long as we've got our friends and family around us, we'll be happy.
Making it into the final: It's unbelievable to be in the final. Back in March we weren't even engaged and now here we are, less than a year later, married and in the final of a competition! To us it was an amazing day, but for others to take the time to vote completely blows us away. We'd love to have the opportunity to go back to Llansantffraed Court and reminisce as the day went by so quickly.
